PiVCharge.co.uk is a simple way of finding your nearest public charging point for your electric car. It uses the National Chargepoint
Registry data.
The National Chargepoint Registry is a database compiled by the Office of Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), a cross-deparment
government body aimed at increasing the use of electric vehicles in the UK.
The National Chargepoint Registry contains data supplied by many of the UK's charge point infrastructure providers. This includes all chargepoints which have
been part funded by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles, as inclusion in the public database is a condition of funding. It also includes
the majority of commercially operated charge points.
The The National Chargepoint Registry is published under the Open Government Licence, making it available for anyone to redistribute.
